KLVUK question?

That's right guys - you insert the tip and rotate the khukuri back into the Kydex. The tabs are actually rounded so as the handle makes contact they spread open allowing the handle to enter. Once the handle is in place, the tabs close. The nylon strap is surprisingly secure because it is keeping the Kydex closed. If the Kydex can't spread open then the blade is not coming out - 0.093" Kydex is some strong stuff.

Nice work Ronin, I was tempted by your site. I'm an AK builder and a HI owner, was just bemoaning how I wish I had chosen wood over bone on the handle of my M43. Going to have to get a wood handled Khuk and will be checking out villager finishes. Been away for a long time but its about time to consider another blade. :-)
