i cruised a local kmart last night and they still had some of the schrade badgers, 2 different styles, one with the silver blade and the other with the black blade. wasnt but $12, had'em on sale. but beside those was the outdoor life knives, and they had some that looked exactly like the badger. they also had a fixed blade that looked like a schrade old timer style too. all the knives were in the clamshell packages, so i wasnt able to see the reverse side of the blades, but the outdoor life fixed blade had made in america on the blade. i wonder if there is any chance that those could be remnants of schrade? earlier this year wal-mart had a sports afield knife that a guy told me was remnants of schrade, so i rushed up there and bought one, only to get one of the cheapest china knives i have ever seen!!! i am tempted to go get one of the badgers, and maybe the outdoor life knife too. has anyone bought any of these? if so, let me know what your opinion is on them.

The XT2, XT3, XT7 & 152OT knock offs are manufactured in the US the rest are manufactured in china.

Taylor Brands LLC is importing Schrade marked 152's from the chinese manufacturer. United Cutlery is making 152 clones (different markings) in their U.S. Arrowhead manufacturing plant Outdoor Life, Harley, Rigid). Camillus is making a 152 clone. Bear and son is making a 152 clone in their Alabama factory.

Who is making the X-Timer copies in the U.S.?

Arrowhead is making the XT2, XT3 & XT7. Blades are manufactured there the handles are from the same chinese supplier that Schrade used
