Hi!
I don't know if you already know this, but I just discovered and I'm excited about it.
I own both systems, KME just basic kit
And Lansky with lots of stones and strops. Well, you CAN use Lansky stones on KME clamp easily. You just need to take out the small "key" screw in the Lansky stone and screw the KME rod there. You will have to raise the angle about one degree (if you have an inclinometer you can be even more precise), but it does work. Lansky stones and strops are good enough, cheap and easy to find, unlike KME ones, and of you already own the Lansky system you can get the best of both worlds.
Hope this is useful for you. Regards!
