KMG-1 Grinder

Any comments on the KMG-1 Grinder? I am going to purchase a belt grinder for my knife making and have been looking at the Bader and the Griz. Anyone out there with a KMG-1 with some advice? Also what motor would you recommend? Variable speed?

pd,I am not familiar w/ the kmg1,& have heard of a lot of problems w/griz,the Bader BIII is an excellent grinder.IMO,variable speed is the only way to go,1 1/2 hp,although you can get by w/1hp,it is a little underpowered for heavy duty use.Some would say 2hp & up,you can do ok w/1 1/2.
