Does anyone know the length of the 1/2" bolt that goes in the tool arm to hold the contact wheel?

Also there is a bushing between the tool arm and the contact wheel, to maintain the proper distance. What is the length of this bushing? What is this made from (IE, pipe or something else)?

What did you use for the tension spring?

Take a look at this link.

Does anyone know how this rest works? All the photos seem to be from the opposite side where all the mechanics would be for tightening and adjusting it!

I had the same question, so I just bought the spacer from Beaumont. Its something like 0.960" - not an even number. The Beaumont spacer looks like it is fabbed from either hex stock (steel) or maybe a large hex threaded coupling.

In the end, it is somewhat arbitrary; you can shim out the tracking wheel and/or slide the drive wheel along the drive shaft to move the other 2 wheels.

The bolt can be too long - nothing bad is going to happen if some threads poke out on the left side.

McMaster Carr for tension spring, handles, etc.

The MAPP arm has its own square shaft/receiver (like the KMG tool arm) assembly that bolts to the KMG.

The square shaft has a knuckle (pivot along x-axis), and a horizontal round shaft intersects the square shaft. The round shaft allows linear and rotational motion (also along x-axis in the position first shown in photos). The square shaft slides in-and-out (y-axis).

Thanks for the info Patrick! I appreciate it. As many clones as their are out there I didn't expect it too be that hard to get info! Thanks for answwering all my questions!
