KMG Grinder and Adam Michael Arm

I have been working out of state for a few years and upon returning, I have decided to sell my knifemaking equipment. I have a KMG Grinder including a 10" surfacing wheel and the flat platen. It was set up with the step pulleys for 3 speed operation. The motor is a Baldor 1 1/2 hp 115/230 volt, 1725 rpm. I also have the Adam Michael Arm that was never set up or painted. The grinder was only used for a short time, maybe 2 or 3 hours total. I would like $1200 for everything.

I also have a Baldor 332B, 3/4 hp buffer. I would like $450 for buffer and all wheels, rouge, etc.

I live in the Bay Area of California and local buyers are best, but shipping could be done at buyers expense.

Welllll. I just checked approx shipping to here. $375 and that's if the badged Nazi's at customs don't look in the box for taxation. :(
That's OK. I downloaded a the larger pics and put in GIMP to scale. Looks like the Bridgeport and drill press are going to get a little workout. I'm thinking all aluminum. ;)

He emailed me tonight and said he has a local buyer who is going to pick it up this week. :( Second deal on here to fall through for me. Its frustrating for me/us. Looks like your in the same boat I am. Just want to get started and want a good machine. Was saving my money for a Wuertz TW-90 but can't afford the $3200.
I think I am going to do the same as you and just order a KMG chassi. I have a 2hp Baldor motor I can use. Good luck
 
I'm sorry this was so long and drawn out. I finally gave up on the local person who I was trying to accomodate. Coye was first in line and had communicated with me often, so it went out to him on Friday. Shipping was expensive and kind of a hastle, but I am happy that he is getting it.

I still have a buffer to sell and will be posting it here soon.
