Due to having no time to spend making knives, I am selling my equipment. It consists of the following:
KMG Grinder. Purchased from Beaumont in early 2011. Grinder, 8" wheel that has seen little use, with platen, work rest and tooling arm. Grinder was painted a hammered copper color to protect the metal from corrosion. No modifications done to it, runs and tracks excellent. Platen could use a grinding, as it has a slight dip in the center from grinding. It is powered by a Leeson 2hp 1725rpm TEFC motor, with step pulleys on the motor and the grinder. Drive belt as well. I have a Rotary Platen from Beaumont as well. Runs and tracks great, fully adjustable for tension, and comes with the tooling arm.
I am looking to sell this as a package, including the grinder, motor, pulleys, belt, 8" wheel, work rest and platen, AND rotary platen. I would like $1300 for everything. I am not willing to split anything up, not looking to part it out. I would consider selling the grinder and the rotary platen seperately if the grinder sells first, and the buyer does not want the rotary platen. I would sell the Grinder for $1100 and the rotary platen for $350. I would prefer face to face, but I would consider delivery in a 2 hour radius of 44256 (Ohio), or can meet you half way. Shipping is a possibility, but every penny of the shipping cost will be up to you. I have no clue what it would be, but probably $100+.
I also have a Evenheat KF18 kiln up for sale as well. Inside dimensions are 18"x10"x6", includes a ceramic stand. Set-Pro control, works perfect, looks new inside and out, well taken care of. 240V set up. Heats up FAST, controller will do anything you want it to. 2200 degree max temp. I will not ship this item, so it is face to face or possible delivery. $725.
Everything is hooked up and ready for use. If you are interested and want to test everything out, I will be more than happy to let you test them and visually inspect them. This does not apply to tire kickers or some one looking to lowball me. I have no problem kicking you out of my garage.
