I'm ordering a KMG-8 from Beaumont Metal Works, Ltd. I'm also getting a small wheel attachment together with it. However, I do not know which size is the most practical and usefull to get  They have the following sizes available :

SWR-.500 1/2" diameter
SWR-.625 5/8 diameter
SWR-.750 3/4" diameter
SWR-1.00 1" diameter
SWR-1.125 1-1/8" diameter
SWR-1.25 1-1/4" diameter
SWR-1.50 1-1/2" diameter
SWR-2.00 2" diameter

I use the 3/4" for choils, the 1" for shaping guards and the 1 1/2" for finger cut outs on smaller hunting knives.

I use 1/2" and 3/4"

Haven't needed the others.

plus i have the 5/8 also, the 1/2 " with lots of use will wear thin as there is not a lot of rubber on them but that takes alot of knives and time.

Its a great system just like it says Do not operate at high speed the thing will come unglued.

It works like this:
first you buy some wheel and only after some time you know what is most useful for you. :)
Sometimes it is quite different from what is useful for other people.
