KMG Spring

I am getting ready to try and find a spring for my KMG clone but i don't know what weight of spring i should get for the tension arm. I mean is 10 pounds enough or should i go with 30 pounds. Thanks

I have seen everything from fence tension springs to valve springs used on them. I use some I ordered from Ace hardware, came in a foot section and I cut it to fit.

That spring is for a pull type I believe, he needs the compression type spring not the extension type.

I think I'm going to get the 30 pound spring. i found a block of steel the weighed 19 pounds and set it on the tension arm on my old grinder and it pushed in down. so ya 30 pounds should be good. thanks yall.
