Hi everyone I just set up a kmg variable speed and my tracking wheel is slanted right and has no more adjustment for that direction. I'm not sure what going on any advice would be appreciated thanks

If your loosen up the top plate for the toolarm you can rotate it and get the tracking wheel to be more vertical when the belt is on. Before you do this you should ensure that the midline of the idler, drive and tracking wheels is in the same vertical plane. The wheel are all different widths so you cannot measure from the inside edge.

You can shim the tracking wheel to change its yaw alignment. A 0.005" shim should be thick enough, so a piece of aluminum can would be perfect.. Loosen the tracking wheel bolt and place the shim at a 3 or 9 o'clock position, then tighten the bolt. Experiment with shim location. Make sure the shim won't catch on the belt or wheel.

I need to do this when I run my KMG backwards.
