Kmg work rest mod

This isn't some big great mod but it saves me a little time. I found the black one on an old drillpress. I made the other one. Anyway hope it helps someone out there.

I also added a shot of this weekends work. That's 152 holes plus counterbore and reaming.

Oh and 14/18 tpi band saw blades are great for cutting titanium.

Any suggestions for a good belt to grind titanium. I'm using Norton R980p. Is there something better out there?

I love that mod. You can also buy adjustable handles from McMaster-Carr. Item #6271K62

I also have an adjustable handle for quickly changing the angle of the platen and/or remove the platen without a wrench. Big time saver for me.
 
I had a similar idea. I bought these knobs at the local Fleet Supply.
