I was considering giving FMA a go a while ago, and sat in on a class at the Inosanto Academy. However, I have an old knee injury (dislocated several times, then had knee surgery, hasn't dislocated since, but still not nearly 100%) and I'm really concerned about further damage. Any art that involves extensive kicking or grappling is out, but from the one class I observed it appears that FMA might be an alternative that I could live with.
So I guess my question is whether you all think that FMA might be a good art to practice, given my concerns about my knee condition.
Thanks!
Ryan
