Knife #11 Finished

I'm a very big design snob and I have to say, Erin, you have a fantastic sense of both design and craftsmanship.

Knife 11? That's somewhat hard to believe.

Can I assume you have training or experience as a metalsmith, jeweler or other fine craft field before you made your first knife? If so, what was it?

Some quick responses... in the middle of eastern WA typing on my iPhone. Edge network is sooo slow.

Very sleek new styled knife Erin. I'm proud of ya. Its beautiful. Fit and Finish is top quality too.

Thanks Bruce. It's going to take some time for my head to deflate. Believe me, I still have plenty of room for improvement in the fit & finish area.

Thanks bro.

Knife #11 is not 100% true since Knife #7 consisted of 5 identical blades (for my sisters), and Knife #8 consisted of 3 similar blades for my wife's father and brothers. If my math is correct, this is my 17th completed knife.

I'm an electrical engineer. I have no previous artistic training (other than junior high art class long ago)… and I have no previous craft training. I just like to make things with my hands. I'm fortunate enough to have a day job that can support my hobbies. :)
