Knife #15 - Loveless Elk Hunter

Beautiful work Roger, as always. I can't wait to see this one. I promise I'll clean all the finger prints off.
:D

What everyone else has said. That knife is soooooo beautiful! Those black spacers just add so much to design.

Outstanding Roger!!
That is one fine knife!
Tapered tang and distal taper is a real nice touch!
Plus resisting the urge to overdo the knife and fancy it up too much really makes it grand!
You should be proud!

Yeah Chuck, the Leather Princess does great work. Stay frosty though Ol'Leather Master. I'm working on one now I hope you'll accept for sheath making. This one's not sold and there should not be a particular hurry. I can't forget about my promise some couple months ago about three other guys I told would make a sheath too.

Thanks again to all.

Roger-
I'll be looking forward to hearing from you! Are we going to get a preview soon?

Chuck, I'm working on the copper bolsters now and just cut the scales today. The blade is ground and heat treated. I don't think I'll be able to get pictures taken until the end of month because I am leaving town about the 12th for a couple weeks. I hope to have the knife done by the time I leave town (bow season ya know). The scales are walrus jaw bone. This one is a little larger than the last one you did for me but still a hunting knife. I hope to field test it soon.

Yeah, that should go well with your leather. It also goes well with these scales. And, I thought it time to use something other than nickel silver for a change.
