Knife # 7 Prototype "The Gooch"recurve

Well it has been some time since I have posted anything I have been working on.This is a prototype I have been working on.
I have 5 differnt models that will be on my up and coming web page
The other 4 models are at HT.
This is modified Tanto point with a recurve,it is D2E
with a hand rubbed satin finish.it is 8 1/2 OVAL it has a G10 handle
I have not etched my name in it yet,but I wanted to hear some input on my work.I will be posting the 4 other styles I have in the next couple months.

That looks really nice Nathan. Looks like a mosaic pin in the center. That might make a real good skinner too.

There is unuff belly there to do some shinning
it has a very powerful point on it made for high
impact.I just want to make somthing outside the box.the others Knives I have at HT are different also.
that is a mosaic pin in the middle

Nathan there is something about your work when I look at it it gets my attention. I was talking to A.T Barr on the phone one day and mentioned your work I was so impressed with it.Only thing I would suggest is keep doing what your doing.

Thanks everyone,I have been working hard on my line of knives
I can't wait to get my others back from HT to finish up some of them.
Having my name in a phone call,really makes a new maker feel good
and it is to one of the top makers.
Mike no I did not taper the tang on this one because it was a prototype,I will be tapering the tang on most all my knives
that I will come out with.Again thanks for the great words of encouragement it is well received.

Very Nice Nathan. While I don't care for Tanto points this one is well made and should be very useful. This should be a real workhorse.
