This is Knife #8c. It is the last of three of this design. They are intended to be given as gifts: one for my father-in-law (#8a can be seen HERE) and one each to my two brothers-in-law. Knife #8b goes to Josh, and this one is for Dave.

Some Stats:
Length: 12-1/2"
Blade: 6" (tip to choil?)
Steel: 3/16" 1095 (from Kelly Cupples)
Clay-Treated w/ hamon, Flat-Ground w/ tapered-tang
Handle: Stabilized Giraffe Bone (from Giraffebone.com

) w/ 416ss pins, and shield from Tracy
Guard: 416ss & 1080 w/ 416ss pins & red spacer

I just checked out the WIP and must say all three are SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!:thumbup::thumbup:

Hey Tobin... thanks for the feedback. If you haven't seen it already, you should check out Knife #9. I used one of the maple blocks (block #4) from that batch you bought from (blocks #5&6 I think). Remember, you need to post photos when you use them. ;)
