Knife and Gun Club

garryale, the M1 Garand and the M1A are two different rifles. The Garand is older and 30-06 Springfield caliber.

The M1A, currently manufactured, is 308 Winchester and is the one that Scott has.

The M1A is the civilian(semi-automatic) version of the M14, which is full auto...(maybe some are selective fire?). HTH, Preston
Dear Mr. Preston

Pneumatic supersonic Gamo Hunter 1250 model and two 192 brothers.
Gamo Hunter has 360-380 m/sec with silencer, is not bad for crow-killing, not bad for rabbit-hunting and main is the training in shooting.

How about a Russian revolver... and a Buck knife?

IMG_4503.jpg

That's an 1895 Nagant in 7.62x38r... made in Tula arsenal in 1937... with a Buck #895 Simonich Legacy. The Serbian ammo is new - and anemic. Interesting Victorian engineering in that Belgian designed revolver... and the knife is neat, too!

Gads - I forgot my 'All American' special - the re-issue of the S&W 1999 2 5/8" PC 627 'Ultimate Defensive Revolver' from earlier this year. That became known as the 'Blood Work' gun after the '02 movie of the same name which starred Clint Eastwood/Jeff Daniels. I wanted one then... they are actually $14 cheaper MSRP now - go figure! Plus - they had developed a cult following - like new originals were commanding $3k+! Yeah, the 172 Mayo TNT is a classic, too.

Those are Ahrends retro target grips in cocobolo - and Remington R38S12 .38 Special +P 158gr LHPSWC's - the old 'FBI load'. Good home protection!

Nagant is very good. It's a symbol of the big part of Russian history.
At the beginning of 20th century Tula arsenal was good producer of the different types weapon.
Knife is good too.

I know noone is going to believe this, but its my wifes 9MM. NOT mine :D

I figure it would be good for a bump on the knife and gun club. ;)
