I don't know what the wood is on this handle. It was growing in the swamp behind my son's house, dead without bark or leaves so not easy to identify. If I were to guess I would call it ash with strange burls.

Forged from 5160
Flat grind
Distal tapered tang and blade
Hand sanded to 400 grit on the grind, forge marks on the flats
Unknown wood handle stabilized in my shop
Overall length: 10 3/8 inches
Blade: 6 1/8 inches
Riveted leather scabbard

$155 ----SOLD----delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com I will also take your check with time to clear or a USPS money order.
