The only thing I don't like about the 5610 is that the beeper is inaudible to me, which renders the alarm useless. Other than that, it's a great watch. If I was buying today, I'd get the positive lcd screen. The negative looks good, but can be hard to read. That's my bad judgement, not the watch's.
I can't even hear it when I'm awake unless I hold it up to my ear. I'm in my 60's and have pretty good hearing, except for tinnitus. I'm wondering if the beeper is in the frequency range of the tinnitus. I do like the watch otherwise. I use the countdown timer when I work out and its handy even without an audible alarm.That's the biggest problem I have with Casio. I cannot rely on their alarm to wake me up. Back in OCS I had to replace my Casio with a Timex Ironman for the louder alarm.
