Just picked this watch up. Its been years since I wore a watch, as the iphone has been fine. Decided to start wearing one again and picked up this Maratac (County Comm). My preferred style is a flieger with GMT feature. This one is full titanium, sapphire crystal, and a ronda 515.24h movement. (Same as many luminox watches). It weighs 45g. The problem… now I have been on a deep dive into watches. Knives are cheaper!

There are a few nice pieces that have caught my eye, but a 41mm Omega Aqua Terra in black teak is just beautiful. In all the online shopping I have done, nothing has jumped out like that one has. That will be my 25 year gift. Just over 2 years away.

That’s a beauty! I’m sure they’re on your radar already, but if you’re into interesting textured dials (and also titanium) Grand Seiko is another amazing option for the next anniversary :)
