Well today I have an Omega Aqua Terra and my Dpx hest F. That could change any day as I have a problem staying with one watch, I have my eye on an Omega Railmaster, but the Dpx will never change. I've had just about any custom knife brand you can name but always go back to my trusty hest f for daily carry.
That's sexy. I have the 168.1111 with steel blue dial and 2500b movement. This is in my opinion the most comfortable band ever made. So smooth and wraps the wrist like a glove. I go through watches quite quickly, I can't afford to keep many so I tend to flip them when something new and shiny catches my eye, I've had pretty much any mid to high end watch you can name. One of my fav but was a little too big was jeager lecuoltre Reserve de marche, miss that one.![]()
These two today
That's cool. I made a few custom timex some years back. In 1977 timex made a great four color military automatic dial, they made it one year only in a flat dial in a type I and type II so I was able to do a few custom transplants into swiss cases with Swiss automatic movements. I still have a type I in my collection which is the rarest dial. You can see it online just search custom 1977 timex and you will see it. Pic download here is primitive compared to the 6 other different forums I attend so I don't bother.Watches are a weird thing. I just sold off a super hard to find 70s Girard Perregaux anniverary Gyromatic. I got this Timex in the mail today, it fits my wrist a lot better than the GP.
If the zulu doesn't work for you tryout a perlon strap or a thin silicone nato which works great with skx's.One of two additions that I have been gifted. I have started stepping up the watch end of my carry, and these two are the first of my quality pieces. For reference, I used to wear a Casio PAW1100, though that is now relegated to fishing, hiking and camping.
Day off/weekend wear, Seiko SKXA35 aka the Bumblebee Diver, and my weekend carry.

I have a Black with yellow and white pinstripe Zulu inbound, and should land on Tuesday. Looking to lighten the feel of it as it is mostly a summer wear.
The other watch I received was a Bernhardt Binnacle Diver, also in yellow. Even though they resemble one another, the Binnacle feels like a more stout offering. The bracelet is built with incredible tolerances, the milled clasp is a fantastic touch and speaks to their attention to detail.
Pics of the Binnacle to follow in an edit.
Thanks, I appreciate the input. If the zulu doesn't work for you tryout a perlon strap or a thin silicone nato which works great with skx's.
I'll edit with a photo in a aecond.
The silicone nato comes in colors and is great in the summer. The Civo synthetic strap is equally great and I prefer them over the leather versions on a 22mm strap.
