+1 I like a waki, a kukri and a pocket knife to be prepared all purpose lol
Dawson knives waki, ZT vakra and a cold steel recon.
However i like EKT companion in your choices.

Between those two, I'd pick the EKT without question. Handle shape, size, blade shape... all miles better imo.

That companion is a sharp looking knife! The Brous looks awful to me. I bought one once and gave it away as a gift after discovering how terrible it was. BUT it depends on intended use mixed with personal preference.
