Hi everyone - - I recently thought about a Spyderco that I bought several years ago. It was one of the Spyder Cards, an all metal credit card sized knife. When I had it, I didn't carry it very much because I didn't like the feel of the extra weight in my back pocket. I prefer to have the weight clipped to a front pocket or at my waist band. It usually sat in my desk and on occasion when I remembered it was there I might use it to open some mail, but that wasn't often. - - Last time I recall having it, I packed it with some camp gear before a trip just to give it a little actual use (I still didn't use it on that trip though). - - Well I hadn't thought about it for quite awhile, but found out recently that they had been discontinued. I checked on ebay, and am surprised at what they might go for (I wouldn't pay that much for one, myself.) But now I MUST find that knife ! I've started going through a few boxes and will continue the search till I (hopefully) find it. I've got some things I've got to clear out anyway, so the search for the Spyder Card is an extra incentive to get 'er done. - - Has this ever happened to you - finding that a knife might be a little more attractive if you thought you might have lost it ? Regards, - - -
