Knife Bite Remedies

I think the one I use is called new skin. It's a liquid bandaid, usually I'll just stop the bleeding then put a few drops on it and wait to dry then I'm good to go.

spit a little RedMan on the wound and wrap it with an old rag. You'll be rolling again in no time.
 
I keep a tub of styptic powder in my dog's grooming box. Having a fidgety, non-cooperative dog that needs periodic nail clipping means the stuff comes in handy. It also works with some knife bites. I almost always allow the wound to bleed for a while before giving it attention. This supposedly helps to flush out any cooties in the wound. Most of the time for most small wounds I just slap on a bandaid after letting it drip blood for a while.
