I have a number of natural unstabilized blocks for sale. My photography skills are not great so expect the blocks to look better in person.
Group 1: 3 Buckeye burl blocks. From right to left: sizes are 1 1/8 x 1 3/4 x 5 1/2, 1 1/8 x 2 x 5, 1 1/8 x 1 3/4 x 5 1/4. These are unstabilized but have been cut for years. -20 bucks for all three
Group 2: These two blocks are logwood a semi rare wood from South America that is a orangish brown and pretty dense. There is some curly crotchwood type figure that was hard to capture in the photo. Sizes are 1 1/2 x 2 3/16 x 5 and 1 x 2 3/16 x 4 3/4. 12 bucks for both blocks.
Group 3: I have two coolibah blocks that have been cut for over five years. This is a extremely dense wood almost feels like stone with a watermelon color and tiny eyes. Very nice. Each block is 1 1/4 x 1 x 5/8 x 5 1/4. each block is 15 bucks each or both for 25.
Group 4: Another group of coolibah burl. Size is 1 x 2 (1 3/4 to natural edge) 1+ x 1 5/8 x 5 1/4. These blocks would have some nice contrasting sapwood with watermelon heart wood if cut into scales. 20 bucks for both.
Group 5: This is Honduran rosewood burl. Very nice color and figure. Size is 1 1/8 x 1 3/4 x 7-7 1/2 . These are bookmatched blocks. The dark spots are from some surface wax I did not sand off. Each is 1 1/8 x 1 3/4 x 7-7 1/2 price is 35 bucks each
Group 6: Very rare cocobolo burl that you hardly ever see. I was lucky to buy a few blocks a while back. Hard to get a good picture of the figure but this is a nice one. Size is 1 1/2 x 1 3/4 x 8 overall and 5 if you squared it off but I left it long. Price is 85 bucks.
Group7: Group of amboyna they are all roughly 1 x 1 5/8 x 5+. 16 bucks each or all of them for 60 bucks.
Group 8: Spalted ambrosia maple burl the smallest is 1 x 1/2 x 5 most are larger. 10 bucks for all of them.
