Knife case solution?

I've been looking around at knife cases- the padded ones you can buy from most knifemaker supply shops. I've bought some, but am trying to find a better solution for having my own stock for shipping out finished products (the stuff I do doesn't lend itself to leather sheaths). So I went to a fabric store with my girlfriend and we got some supplies so she could help me out with trying to make them myself. The preliminary results look decent but aren't as nice and consistent as the type you can buy. It could get worked out but it really took longer than I expected to complete one. Working with the foam and zipper isn't the easiest.

Anyway, is there some person or place who can make these to customer's specs and in a higher volume so it isn't expensive per case? Maybe throw a logo on there or use a fabric of my choosing? Any ideas?

I got mine made up by Rick Frigault (in Canada) in the past. He has stopped selling them, but may still have his supplier's address. I'll email him.

The cases do not have to be zippered.I have made many that look like the small pocket knife case that the knife just slips into with a flap that folds over the top closing.I just used polar fleece for the "Blade Bag"..These can have velcro to hold the flap shut or a belt or ribbon tie.You can make them with a foam center and add a inside and outside layer, and they can be made so the knife slips in from one end or close the ends and have one long edge open..These are pretty quick to make and are good to have around the shop to keep almost finished blades in so they are protected and they work great as a presentation case for the knife..I dont have any pictures of mine but if you look for the small covers for folders or some jewelery you can get a good idea and make one ...

Just my 2 cents worth.
