Knife Center Free Shipping Purchasing Issue

I don't know where else to put this and if this isn't an appropriate topic I apologize. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue....

I've been trying to buy an Olamic 247 (https://www.knifecenter.com/item/OC...tonewashed-titanium-handles-with-hole-pattern) on KnifeCenter.. but when I put in my credit card information and select standard (free) shipping and click on review order, the screen just refreshes.

The only way to proceed is to select any other shipping method which costs money. This is not an issue for anything else I try to buy. Has anyone run into this and know what I am doing wrong? Does this happen to you (It happens on both my computers)?

I have already sent a message to knife center but I wanted to see if anyone here has ran into this before.

Im not certain but some brands arent allowed to have free shipping as its usually absorbed as a discount on the knife. If olamic has a policy of map pricing certain free shipping options may not apply. Best to contact them to know for sure.
 
If it is not too much trouble, can someone try to go and add that to their card and try to get to the Review&Confirm section of checkout using standard shipping? Obviously don't buy it, I am just wondering if it is an issue with me or not.

Thanks. I will give them a call tomorrow when their lines are open. I would have called them already but they aren't open today, and I wanted to get my order in tonight so its all good and ready tomorrow.
 
I experienced something similar last month however soon after I got an order confirmation email. Check your emails it may have went through. Best of luck on getting it figured out, those 247's are bad ass!
 
So I just ordered it with more expensive shipping and put in a note saying i couldnt click on the free shipping option, and asking them to use that on order.... I figured this is okay since they don't charge my card until they ship. Well the order was shipped and they just set the free shipping. It all worked out.

Nice to see a dealer do a work-around to get the deal sealed...too many times sales get lost due to technicalities and employees who pass the buck...never understood that mindset-- laziness or trifling attitude, I guess. :confused::thumbdn::(
