I have to say that Knife Center's CS is about as good as it gets, at least in my experience. I had a 2-knife order shipped by them via USPS on April 25th. It dropped into the black hole known as Atlanta, GA and hasn't been seen, heard from, or even traceable since April 29th. I'm moving out of state in a couple of weeks and I was concerned about not getting my order even if it finally showed up at my old address.

I emailed Knife Center, got a quick response from Janie (their CS director), and she initiated a trace with USPS. They admitted that a container (with about 100 shipments in it) had gone missing. Knowing that my relocation was coming up, Janie and Knife Center duplicated my order and shipped it out by a "more reliable carrier". It arrived within 4 days of shipping, just like the carrier said it would.

Now... none of this was Knife Center's fault. They did everything on the original order that they were supposed to do. I got tracking info, got set up for text messages at each step, and USPS followed the package for 4 days before everything went dark. Knife Center stepped in at that point to help out a customer. AFAIC, that's the gold standard for any company's CS.

THANK YOU!:thumbsup: to Janie & Knife Center.

That is exceptional service. Not to derail this into another USPS bash thread but somewhat related; a lot of the well established dealers have been offering reduced rate FedEx 2 day shipping for about the same price as priority mail. To me that’s a no brainer. I’ve thrown much more business to the retailers that offer this service. I avoid USPS if at all possible anymore.
