Knife Certificates

Do you think that those should have thier own areas or just filled in as required?

It doesn't really matter....every maker will have a different approach to a certificate....many don't indicate metals used in mokume or damascus, as and example, and this information is important.

ANY information from the maker is better than none, and how it is laid out, and what is included are matters of taste, and priority.

I requested a certificate from Anza for a custom knife they were making. They not only created a certificate but went way above and beyond with a photo sheet of my knife in stages of completion:

I know they can't do that every time, but it was my first custom knife and it really meant a lot to me. Still does.
