Knife collectors top 3 "other" interests

1. Knives
2. Flashlights (Got into them because of gadgets and gear :rolleyes: )
3. Martial arts (A little bit of Judo but more Mixed Martial Arts)
 
Knives, flashlights, toys, books, cars, motorcycles, skulls, rocks, and I'm sure a lot more I just can't think of anything else right now.
 
Guns - nope. Martial arts - nope (though my 11 year old daughter is a TKD black belt). Watches - you bet (DOXA, Longines, Omega). Backpacking, running, movie buff.
 
There was a thread awhile back about guns, knives and dogs, with pics to boot. I like guns; Browning Hipower, Walther PPKS & TPH and a Ruger MKII. Knives; CRK Sebs and Mnandis. Dogs; Australian Shepherds (awesome dogs!), Border Collies and Shetland Sheepdogs. Books of all kinds, got hundreds. Don't do Martial Arts, but I liked Segal when he was "bad" and Chuck Norris is still cool, and Bruce Lee was amazing! Lift wieghts, walk and hike. Drink way too much beer...And, like about all you guys, love gadgets of all kinds.

Yup similar interests here.

Knives- yup
Martial arts- yup did ju jitsu for a few years and will do again when my knee gets fixed and I can do it without collapsing in pain.
Guns- well as much as I can in the UK without getting a firearms licence, so I do FT shooting with an air rifle.
Motorbikes- used to have one till it died hoping to get another one this year sometime.

Had pet dogs as I was growing up but now I have pet rats instead hehe.

Top four:

-College Basketball (UNC)

-Knives (especially the Mnandi) ;)

-Guns (GLOCK and S&W revolvers)

-Jazz (Coltrane, Monk, Miles, Mingus and Evans to name a few)
 
Guns-just got into them, have a 38spl and a Springer GI45
Watches-love them, only have one, a Rolex Explorer II
Cameras-used to be heavily into it, now just occasional shooter with my Nikon D70
Bikes-work at a bike shop, ride road and mtn.....have steel Gunnars for both
Guitar-don't play much anymore but still mess around sometimes, have a few year old Fender American Strat Plus

That is about it for true interests/hobbies I think. Of course there is woman, beer and Scotch as well:)

I really give a rat's behind about no kung fooie crap...I'd rather apply one of the natural order of things. I never cared about guns either...although I was a very good shot...I've always prefered my Bow and arrows over any gun any day. Knives..yes...ever since my first knife...and before.
 
I must say i do find it interesting, that there is a common thread of watches, motorcycles, pens, cameras and guns. I have a few bikes, 95 ducati 750ss, 93 cbr900rr, and a 98 honda magna. as for watches a have a rolex date just. camera, sony 717 5.2 megapixel, and pens a few montblanc...Im also into fishing, camping and hiking. I do find it interesting how no one said they were into hotrods, musclecars, jukeboxes, or art.

Yeah, I have a Springfield GI .45....one of the boards I go to often refers to them just as "springers" for short, kinda like we do with Sebby I guess.

Sorry Slide, didn't know that. Never had a Springfield. Had a Colt Gold Cup once and a Kimber Custom Eclipse. Didn't like the GC all that much and sold it. The Kimber is a trajic story. :(
