How many of you are into knife combos in the woods?
I know an ax is king for tuff hardwoods and in the winter. But who prefers a large knife small knife combo from late spring to early fall on their multinighters and what do you use?
Depending on how you define "knife" and "small", my combo may or may not qualify.
The big "knife" is an HI kukri, and the "small"(er) knife right now is an HI R-10.
Both of which are on the way to ilbruche for pants.
This is my Basic - Low Budget Combo
Ontario 12" machete / Frosts Mora Clipper -Carbon
...I'm never going to have any money if I keep hanging around this place.
You can say that again, KD. That's why I'm not buying any more knives.
Nice blades Franco! How do you like the little Fehrman? I've always been interested in them...............
Doc
That's where I'm at too. I love my Chopweiler/Swamp Warden combo:
Sheath by JRE, and the nicest I've ever seen or owned.
