cant find anything similar to them. I have been reading about them for a while now and really love what i see everything is great about them except for the designs , I am just looking for a more purpose built look the only ones that I like are the team Gemini and the sarge 6 or 7.
Maby this is just me being too picky but I digress. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Similar how? I'm not getting what you are looking for.

There is Buck, which also starts with "B".

Guess I'll just wait till the custom shop is taking orders again.
What I ment by purpose built was a simple looking design. For example the sebenza its not flashy it's just a well thought out design, like the TGLB if that makes sense.
And what I meant similar to busse was another company that has the same reputation for building an overbuild quality blade with a outstanding warranty.

Have you looked at the satin jack or boss jack? Neither of those are really flashy just good all purpose knives. Boss jack would be my choice

I have looked at the boss jack and I do like it is the handle really as thin around as some say or is it just a tad on the small side ?

Hmm i don't know, it's kind of subjective. I have medium sized hands and I like the thinner handle. I can get a better grip. I can measure it when I get home to give you an idea of the handle circumference.

If you want a Busse, get a Busse. There is no substitute.
Best of luck.

The Bussekin Swamprat Ratmandu is a very popular knife. I think everyone should own one. You should probably seriously think about ordering before they take it out of production. The Busse business model has changed significantly in the past year and things are happening very fast...except for maybe delivery :)

I think I am coming to that conclusion LEFTYTWOGUNZ.
And what do you mean by the busse business model has changed?

Their current business model is a very large part in why I have not purchased anything from them since they started with the current insanity.

They make good knives, but I'm not dealing with their current manic state of affairs.

If you want purpose-built, get a Becker model from KA-BAR; can't get simpler than that. Bonus is they are 1/5 the cost of almost any Busse of similar size, so even if you can manage to abuse the blade to the point of breaking (not that easy) you can replace it 4x over and still come out with the same price.

Their current offerings are super easy to get compared to how it used to be. Shoot, they will send you and email for every new offering, and leave it up for days, until it sells out!

Never, in the history of knife buying has so much been owed to so few, by so many!

Historical pun aside, if you don't ike the current offering, just wait two weeks.

There will be another design, and another, and another, and another after that.

And the best part? You don't need to wait up late, hitting F5 like a mad man, refreshing, looking at 5 screens, and trying to time your email!

Isint the shark the current offering. Basically a super sweet sexy version of the Team Gemini........ or maybe it is gone now.

Matt....

Try the search function since this has been multiple time to exhaustion .....
