Due to social media algorithms I am seeing more and more ads for a specific "knife" company. Their knives are made by another company and imported under their brand. I finally worked up the nerve to ask them what made their knives better than their direct competitors that sell almost identical knives cheaper. Their response? "We have better customer service." Absolutely nothing about the actual specs of the knife.

I can't say that I am shocked. After all, it's not the only viral "knife" company out there.

I'll never forget the experience when I went to the local gun and knife store and held the BK-7 in my hand. It's not a full-size bowie, but it feels durable and balanced. So much so I no longer felt like I wanted to find the BK-9 in person before making my final decision. So yeah, no thanks "knife" company. I'll keep the knife I have.
