Is there anybody that could help me bring my idea and design into an actual physical prototype? I am not rich and don't have money to just throw around haphazardly. It's just something I am starting to get really passionate about.

Some details would help various makers know if they could help you. Basic size, fixed or folder, etc.

Yes, that would probably help. It would be a small framelock folder. Blade under three inches.

That would fall right in the middle of the "Mid-Tech" category. It would have to be a Stellar design with Top Shelf Materials to compete in that category.

I'm suggesting you should give a cost that you can handle.
I've had , as many other makers, people come to me with an idea they thought was original and unique. They also thought because of that a maker would do it almost for free. In most cases the ideas are well known and from the past.

There is a place in The Exchange for requests for Knifemaker Services. That is where you can ask for this type work. Shop Talk is not for advertising , buying, selling, or soliciting services.

If you want advice/help in working on your design. you can post a thread here in Shop Talk and ask those who make folders their opinions. Keep sales talk out of it, though.
You should post sketches and such as well as all the necessary info for the folks here to help you out.
