Knife crinkle coating removal

Any chemical stripper at the hardware store will work. I like the spray on kind, so I dont have to touch it :D
 
I've used PVC primer/solvent to remove it, along with the other more obvious stuff (paint remover).
 
I used Zip-A-Strip paint remover on a Cold Stell RS with very good results.
Expect to do a lot...a lot...of sanding after the coating is gone.
There aint no shiney finish under there.
 
This stuff will knock the coating off in less than 15 minutes. I've done a couple of Rangers this way. Available everywhere.
 
I had not thought of doing that, but I never buy knives with those type of coatings. They look like crap and serve no purpose IMO.
