This happened from cutting a hard plastic flower pot. I did torque the blade a little trying to change the cutting direction slightly.
 
That's going to be tough to grind out, better send it in.
What kind of scales are those? Looks like a pseudo carbon fiber.
 
Wow. You must have hands like vice-grips. Did you find all the pieces for them to glue back together?
 
Surprising. Reminds me of hollow grind chips when cutting into wood and torquing to the sides to remove a stuck blade.
 
I too would like to see more photos. Not sure how the tip and edge were broken out like that? Seems like it would take several different applications of force so you would have to break off the tip then go back at it and break off the edge in one or more movements.
