Knife Damage

Throwing knives is the only A+ way to break any knife and voids most warranties

+1! Friends don't let friends throw quality knives. Also, avoid doing things like using knives to cut open cans, cut wire, etc.

Thanks all for the speedy replies and the great advice!!! I just wanted to clarify that I am using throwing knives.

I let my ex borrow one of my CRKTs, and she ended up throwing it at a tree while she was bored. She damaged the lock on it, not that it mattered because she never gave it back to me after she cheated on me :p Just a little tip fellas, never let a girl hold on to your knives!

I have throwing knives, and knives not designed specifically for throwing that I throw.

I have thrown expensive knives with fantastic warranties and tough steel that held up fine (Busse).

I have thrown a Cold Steel Tanto for about a decade now, and while not a dedicated thrower, I don't think I could ever break it doing anything.

The soft tree won't likely damage your knife, but the ricochets and missed throws that hit the ground just might.

Throwing knives are very real and viable weapons, spears, axes and swords as well. But unless there is a Viking attack and somehow you can't get to your pistol or assault rifle, they are just really seriously fun toys today. Get heavy throwers and enjoy! They are so much cheaper than ammunition today.
