I'm looking for a good dealer that is in Canada. The main online ones like blade HQ and Knife Center are all based in the U.S. and are unable to ship for some reason.

CoBro,
Warriors and Wonders is in Vancouver,
They come highly recommended ,good customer service,
fast shipping and an impressive inventory.
Check their website often for special offers.

That's who I use now, I was just wondering if there was another site more like the U.S. ones

Just an FYI - we, like others do ship Internationally on a case by case basis. If not us; on behalf of other dealers that don't advertise shipping to Canada - simply reach out and ask and they very well may. The difference for us and reasoning comes down to cost. We ship free in the U.S. but would have to pass cost on for Canada based purchases which can be costly and of course always differ. So when in doubt - ask and you may get lucky!

Hope that helps and Happy New Year!

Very strange to me,as knifecenter ships to Europe ok, got many products from them and they were always top notch dealer (to me),reliable, fast, great selection ...Perhaps it is matter of particular item, that may be prohibited in Canada they refuse to ship?

Maybe, all I know is that it was stopped at the border

OK,that could have been caused by Canadian import regulations and customs has intercepted banned or restricted item (very possible), seizing it or send it back to dealer....look up Canada import laws. These guys doesn't care, where the item is from at all....

Dealer discussions do not go in General Knife Discussion (which is solely to discuss the knives themselves, not where to buy them).
Moving to the GBU

If you live close to the USA border where there is a town or village a few miles south of the border, you can rent a mail box that is inside the USPS building. Then you have a USA shipping address. On your return trip with knives you declare value at the Canadian border and pay the sales tax (HST i think it is now called). If a guard wants to inspect a knife you are right there to witness it and i think less likely to have it refused. Open up any 'questionable' knives before the border and tighten the pivot. This is all completely legal.

I'm seeing a lot of commercials on TV here in Western NY about this KJ. This part of the state sees a lot of Canadian traffic over the various Niagara Falls bridges. Good to see that this sort of arrangement is working out well.

What knife are you trying to buy?

I was trying to get the Spartan blades Enyo
