Weapon??? A machete is no more a weapon than a crescent wrench, a hammer or what have you. The problem is folks perceiving a machete or other edged tools as a weapon.
Expect it to get worse. As our leisure society gets further and further away from actual tool using that vicious looking claw hammer WILL be morphed into a dangerous weapon by the sheeple. And by then our edged tools will have long since been restricted and controlled. Educate the sheeple whenever you get the chance before its too late!
