Knife Design Project: your imput wanted :)

I can see what you mean, so maybe something like number 6 with a 4 or 5 blade shape?

I like the hump on number 2 because it seems it would help with "rocker " cuts for that blade shape, the rest was just cause I liked the look of it :)

I like that idea t but then thought changing bits might prove more work, effort, labor for john, picky but I'm trying to think easy :)

Any size holes are fine. I see some nice ones here!

:)

I like #4 with either 4 or 5 blade shape personally. But I'd really like 5 if you didn't drop back down for the blade. Just continue the half moon shape all the way to the tip.

Nice designs. I especially like how you paid attention to saving materials with the 'puzzle'.

My favorite out of all of them is the one on the bottom right in the first picture. Looks like a handy little blade for daily chores.

...and we all need one of the large slim kitchen knives.:D

It looks like "A" is doing pretty good, so far. You could always post a poll.

actually i don't think i can, lowly gold member that i am, or lowly computer idiot that i am, whichever

A does seem to be running away with ti though :)

Gold members can do it, or whenever you decide on which patterns are the finalists, I can do it, if you want.

I liked #4 -- liked it better with the straighter handle in the first round of iterations -- best in my mind would be #4 as a sheepsfoot rather than the more wharncliffe style #A seems to be. (as in take #4, radius the top corner but leave most of the straight leading edge on front)
