Given the recent threads on use of other peoples designs I have a free offer to new makers wanting some designs.
My knife maker mentor Lloyd HARDING died december 2003. On his work bench were 10 or 12 years of his designs and and drawings he worked off. His son was keen for his work to be distributed amongst any knife maker who was interested.
I have scanned many drawings to actual size so they can be printed and used as templates. Many are too large and have a scale next to them. I also have completed knives photos.
I have tried to clean many of the drawings but some a dirty from being on the bench. Basicaly as he completed one he just left the drawing on a pile and it got bigger. He was a back yard maker with limited tools. He was a guild member doing very fine work. So any newbie would be able to make the knives at home with limited tools.
I will send discs to the first five who email me for free. I don't want to make money but I can't aford to send too many at one time. You may distribute copies to who ever you like as long as you do not charge a fee and it is for the development of knife makers not profit.
Make the subject line "Blade Forum" so I know who you are. I offten delete mesages from unknown senders to prevent viruses.
EDIT email removed
Edit Sorry I got a few too many requests and the funds dried up. A couple of those who got in early have indicated they will host the images on their site and they would update the thread with details when the discs arrive. Sorry to those who missed out. Thanks for showing an intrest
