I built this one so I could look at a some of my collection. It has a plex cover that is replaceable, holds about eighty knives, and has a door in back that locks with a key. Kinda too small though....![]()
Dang, Barry! That is a sweet display! You truly are an artist, ole' buddy!
There are two there drew my attention. That sweet Case jack in the middle of the second row from the bottom caught my eye right away, and after staring at it for a few seconds, I realized why I recognized that knife.
Harry, those are some really well done cases as well! Awesome job on the carvings, and the joinery! I sure do love me some fine woodwork!
Thanks Evan ! Coming from a true Craftsman , who has some Real Skills , that means a lot to me.

I love the examples that have been shown so far. OP, thanks for starting this, I have often thought of something nicer to display some of my prettier knives and/or those that just have some sentimental value.
For now, I just have a couple of cabinets that house the knives that I'm not currently carrying. One for those out of boxes that I really like to look at now and then, and one for any duplicates or knives that were purchased specifically to be given away as gifts at some random time in the future, all still boxed. For the "display" cabinet, I tacked up some L.E.D. lights to make it easy to see everything front to back. But it's still mostly a piled mess on each shelf.
