knife display

Thanks for the info Thawk. I could not find a display set like the one I purchased. It contains 40 knives and were held by wire. In my opinion, probably the least desirable way to secure knives to a board. The wire has caused damage to some of the knives. I would be very interested in the age of the display. Any suggestions on how to solve the mystery?
 
This is what I meant by the set being designed to have blade half way open, there is no other way to display them in this box, obvious Schrade werent too concerned about there being a problem with LBs being displayed this way.
