Ok guys...here is one I did in photoshop just today. I can't wait to do a pencil drawing of this knife so I can show it to you all. I appreciate all of your support and will post new pics as soon as I draw the knife.

Kid ( with all due repect) You are AWESOME
Go buy you some machinery and get building !
I'll be your first customer !

Those are great vissili. I love how you incorporated all the knives you own/photographed into each drawing.

And she's a redhead! Awesome! :D

Blammo...thank you for the very nice response. I wish I had both the time and money to purchase machinery to play with. My time is spent teaching and taking my certification tests. As soon as I am settled in, I am going to start making a nice shop for ALL my little hobbies. Thanks again so much. I have not forgotten about this thread and intend on posting more pics as soon as I get the free time to do the artwork.

I do mine in Adobe Illustrator where I have wonderful ease of line editing. I have quite a few designs (120+?) of which only a few have come to any solidity. Due primarily to my being an illustrator rather than a cutler....
Lets see how my posting skills are....

Very nice Illustrator work! It is a very useful program. I will usually do an outline in Illustrator then whip it into Photoshop for the final touches. Both programs are very useful to the graphic designer and even the occasional architect. Thank you for sharing your work. Do you do any fine art such as drawing, painting, ect.?

BTW Visionsect, I really have to work to achieve anything with a pencil or other 'traditional' media (much less achieve a hot babe with anything other than a camera, Phil!). I admire your skill. Keep 'em coming so we don't hijack your thread! It is just a short step from paper to 'electrons'. Perhaps a local college or school has computer graphics courses available. I sort of got dumped into it and had to sink or swim. I liked swimming apparently.
Anyone else?

I like swimming myself. I actually have been trained in graphic design for four years. I received my Bachelors in GD. I then went on to get my BA in Studio Art as well. Finally I realized how much I love teaching so I am currently working on my Masters for that area.

Very nice human form on the women figure. You say you work from photographs? Do you scan them, and then work the Illustrator version in over the pic? I know people have varying ways that they acheive this kind of work. Great Job!! I am going to have to start getting some work up on here real soon!!

That lady is Phil's work.
I was making a joke that the only way I can acheive a recognizable human figure is by using a camera. My training is more along the lines of illustrating aircraft parts for the various manuals involved in keeping an aircraft flying. I do like Photoshop (playing with the filters and 'artifiction' of photos, but have not gone to Phil's level.

Oh! My apologies...I misread the postings...lol! Thats what I get for studying for hours and posting so early in the morning.
