Knife engraving?

Is it hard to have a titanium pocket knife engraved? I spoke to Spyderco and they only engrave before it leaves the factory.

Much of Ti is easy to engrave. I've done some of my Sebenzas but keeping it simple within my skills. That's with the traditional type with gravers not laser stuff.
