My first negative review and felt the need to share so others in the community are aware of my experience and can use this review to make a decision as to whether they want to deal with this company.

I ordered a Launch 3 January 20th. Granted this was only 2.5 weeks ago but I've received no shipping notification.

I called the owner of this company on the 28th and was told he had an issue with his system and to text him my order number. He said he would get back to me later that day. No word back and I don't like it when people don't follow through so I texted him the next day, the 29th, and asked for a refund. He indicated it was shipping that day so I opted to hold off as I still wanted the knife. I had searched and found multiple other negative reviews at that point and felt this was heading in that direction.

I still haven't received confirmation that its been shipped and I would have received the knife by now had he shipped on the 29th. He also won't respond to me anymore.

I'll be calling my cc company on Monday to dispute the charge. There are various negative reviews on the internet and Facebook that sound similar to my experience. There are some that stand by this company but it seems like you're really rolling the dice. It'll be my first and last transaction I make with this company. There are too many competitors with top notch customer service and fast shipping that set the bar.

I will update if any attempt at resolution is made.
 
Oh man! Sorry to hear about this vendor and your experience with him! I have done multiple transactions, albeit more than 6 months and have never had an issue with him. This is the second bad posting I see about knife envyoh. I hope things clear up for you, and may be cautious dealing with this company now.
 
Dang, sorry to hear about your bad experience.
He had a couple knives last October i couldn't find anywhere else, and that were discontinued.
I had a great experience so it sucks to hear that you are getting the run around.
You are correct though, too many companies out there with top notch service to take gambles on smaller companies.
I hope you can get some closure with this.

I think he's more of a one-man-show as opposed to an actual retailer or company/distributor. I've seen him on Instagram at shows scoring rare and discontinued knives and then, of course, flipping them with gravy on top.

I agree, way too many respectable companies who do right dozens of times a day, 24/7.
 
I still haven't heard anything. I started a claim for this transaction and will have to go through my cc company to get this resolved. I'll be sharing this review elsewhere as well. I was still holding out hope but now I just hope my reviews make people take their business elsewhere. I gave plenty of opportunities and was reasonable in just asking for a simple update. Not even that received a response.
