blgoode, you mind if i use that handle shape of the knife above the WSK? i really like that alot and think it would go good on alot of blade shapes. maybe make a companion for the WSK im working on that'll never get finished!
ive got the blank cut from 0-1 right now sitting by the grinder, but im too afraid ill screw up, to pick it up and grind the draw knife section, and the tapering tang. so ive been practicing on some leaf spring WSK blanks that i cut out a long time ago. im trying to get my craftsman belt grinder working so i dont have to use a belt sander and file. since this is a stock removal design, i cant forge in the bevels like i would any other knife, making this is a big leap in my skill level, but i love the WSK too much to give up! maybe ill start grinding on it tommarow.
