I would say the mark-1 as well, not too much heavier or bulkier than the necker with a comfortable handle and a good slicing blade.
5 in clip point with the small fingerguard would do the job as emergency weapon as well plus the sheath is molle compatable.

I'd send him the Becker that's 3rd from the top, with the wood scales and Digi-Cam blade.
