I have recently decided it was time for a lifestyle change. I am going to start living as a mythical creature... A bridge troll to be exact. I am currently searching for a suitable bridge to live under and information on how to live as a sucsessful bridge troll. I also enjoy making troll noises.

I am looking for advice on what knife i should purchase that would meet my needs as a troll.

My knife should be water resistant given i will be living under a bridge. It should have good edge retention to assist me in eating small children etc.

Any advice is appreciated.

Get one of the larger Beckers. It'll rust down ther by the water eventually, but that will look good if you are a troll.

the kids who got arrested for this in CO threatened to stab a cop with a broken golf club, try that

How about a Spyderco Pacific Salt? H-1 steel is practically rust-proof, and it's a fairly large knife.

I would think a big knobby bludgeon would be more appropriate for a bridge troll. You could use a Leatherman to tear your victims apart, troll-like.

Those all are crap, you need a dagger forged by elves.

Snort, every level 15 warrior knows the elf forged dagger is +15 lame, snort.
You need to roll 12d20 and get a mythril sword of penultimate awesome...

Or a swamp rat, just sayin'

I can't belive no one recomended the ORC sword from the lord of the rings,
it has that orc look and is available also much better for any children eating or cop stabbing(I would recomend against the second one) than a broken golf club.

Get a Becker Tac Tool-looks kinda like those Orc swords! That and a SAK for pickin' the bones clean!

Here is a knife for a Troll. (fourth knife down)

Now send this to W&C so we can say what we really think. :D

I must be a nerd because that looked like alot of fun! Some of those guys took some pretty solid hits. That big orc dude was mean with that giant papermache
axe.

damn....EB beat me to it. Incidentally, they are real nice. I've had a couple of them. (my wife has the one that was ground by someone who was either very blind, very drunk or both and then eventually wound up nicely convexed, usable, and now in my wifes collection, of course..... :D Be forewarned, I've yet to see one that's half as beautiful as the pictures, at least until sanded well and given half a dozen coats of tung oil.

There IS the Ogre though....http://www.szaboinc.com/ogre.html :D

and of course this page has lots of great selections.....
