Hey guys, well its that time of the year. CHRISTMAS.

And i want to get my girl her frist knife, she insisted on NOT getting her one because she does not like them as much as i do. But in my mind i thought, ehh a small one can't hurt right? So i'm looking for some ideas!!

What kind of knife is right for a lady? A knife that would be pretty if you will so that she will actually want to carry it!!

Any help is appriciated!!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Too hard to say. My wife carries a CRKT Crawford Kasper with her all the time heh. She calls it "Mr. Stabby".

I got my wife a Hersey Air Ranger as her first knife while we were dating..she still rotates it in her pocket with her Sebenza's and Microtech's

Victorinox Classic. It has a nail file and scissors and comes in different colors You can even get one with mother of pearl handles. I gave one to a friend, and she loves it.

A SAK classic. But if she has that attitude just get whatever is next on your list cause she will not use it. Trust me I know.

Buy one of these in one of the three sizes...

The Spyderco Spin makes a great little purse knife - I gave them to my twin daughters last year and they love them. You can find a great deal on the Spin on the net right now.

The Spyderco Kiwi is another great small knife - it comes with a leather pouch instead of a clip.

Same deal with my wife. I have tried to get her a knife before and she said she didn't want one. I just got her a Blade-Tech Mouse Lite in purple. It's a small but solid knife. FRN handle, AUS8 steel, lockback. I figured that purple is her favorite color and it's small enough to throw in her purse. I'll make her a nice lanyard for it too. Good luck

A small simple SAK in one of thier custom patterns like snowflakes or flowers. When she gets it don't be disappointed if you don't get much response. Just wait and she will use it and realize how much she needs it!

I bought my wife a Benchmade mini griptillian in pink. A portion of the proceeds go to breast cancer research if you buy a pink one, that in its self is a bonus. She too was opposed to me buying her a knife, but since it's pink, and "pretty" she does carry it. She even uses it quite a bit, more so than she thought she ever would. It is a smaller knife and fits her hand well, but not so small that a man wouldn't carry it, except that it's pink. The axis lock is rock solid and very reliable, and the blade steel is 154CM. Trust me, you can't go wrong with this one.
